Our founders come from construction project management. Everywhere, they saw the same thing: estimating is slow, repetitive and done by hand. KALK exists to make it faster and more reliable, for every contractor.

2025
The founding
KALK is founded in Québec. Centech supports its growth, and the National Research Council of Canada (NRC IRAP) backs it.
2026
The pilot project
Emard Couvre-Planchers becomes a partner. Its estimators use KALK on their projects and lend plans and specifications to train the AI: their feedback shapes the tool.
